OUR LEARNING
CREATIVE ART ROOM
Reggio inspired, children are presented art mediums and techniques, as well as free exploration and theme based crafts. Presentation of the great Masters Monet, Picasso, Von Gogh.
PRESCHOOL BUILDING ROOM
Exploring math foundations, blocks, manipulatives and trains. We also include literacy foundations, time in the library and the Hand Writing Without Tears writing center. Sensory exploration and Dramatic play space that changes with themes. We love story time where we offer Spanish, sign language, music, math, literacy, rhyme and repetition.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN ROOM
Visit the science center and explore the Nellie Edge writing center and math center. Have a snack in our lunchroom,. This is a time when children are ready to sit, listen and write for longer periods so we provide plenty of opportunity for that at this level.
DRAGONFLIES
This is our class for the 4/5 year old. We continue the Caterpillars curriculum while also spending enough time in the pre-K room working on understanding the kindergarten curriculum as well as any opportunities that we feel essential to a high quality preschool program. The full day program would be developmentally appropriate for the student heading to kindergarten in the fall while the half day program would be most appropriate for the older 4/5 year old student.
CATERPILLARS
This class is for our 3 and 4 year olds. We explore both social and emotional growth, while learning about God’s amazing creation. This is the beginning to academics and preparing for the next preschool year with rigorous academic expectations.
